MEET THE 2024 MENTEES

In 2023 Chef Richard Sandoval launched Old Ways, New Hands his first mentorship & goal accelerator program, aimed to preserve and amplify Latin culture by teaching the next generation of Latin chefs, creators, and restaurateurs both culinary and business skills.

Hundreds of candidates from across the country applied for 5 spots, to learn from Chef Sandoval and travel to Mexico for a once-in-a-lifetime Masterclass.

We are pleased to present the five selected for the 2024 mentorship program. They traveled to Mexico and embarked on an educational culinary journey of a lifetime with Chef Sandoval.
